After the shrine we headed to the Kyoto Imperial Palace, which was the capital of Japan until 1865. It’s only open one week every year and we just happen find to out it was open while we are here. Some photos below…
Now we’re back at the hotel relaxing for a bit before we head out to dinner. It’s been raining all day but it supposed to let up by tomorrow.
