About Me
I’m a 25-year-old native San Diegan currently living in North Hollywood with my partner of over three years, Tim! I received my Bachelors of Science degree in Graphic Design in 2005. I have what I believe to be an awesome job working for Disney. I design and make things pretty! I tend to be shy at first, but I definitely come around after I loosen up. I think I am funny. My friends are funny. My boyfriend is funny. My family is funny and they mean the world to me.
I’m getting really tired of stupid people. I plan to write a book about it someday.
25 Random Things
01. I rolled over a pencil in my bunk bed when I was 9 and I still have a blue dot on my right leg where the lead poked me.
02. The sight of dripping food (ie, juice from a burrito) disgusts me so much to a point I usually have to stop eating.
03. When I was little, I called Quaker 100% Natural Cereal “Funny” because it had a long name and I guess I thought it was funny. I also called Cheerios “Funny Cheerios.”
04. Somehow I was Prom King and Shamu crowned me since our prom was at Sea World.
05. When I was very young I touched a car cigarette lighter because I wanted to see if they still got hot when the car is off. The answer was yes, and I have a weirdly shaped tip of my right thumb to prove it.
06. I had a collapsed lung, flat-lined, came back to life and had a seizure on April 4, 2001.
07. I detest the font “Comic Sans.”
08. I love P.F. Chang’s China Bistro.
09. I once made fun of a senior citizen tour bus and my mother said, “One day you might be on that bus!” To which I replied, “not on THAT bus!” (My mother loves that story and tells it all the time.)
10. I want to believe that people always know right from wrong.
11. I hate when people act stupid. (I plan on starting the “Campaign for Anti-Stupidity” someday.)
12. I am constantly thinking about [graphic] design.
13. I came out to my parents when I was 15.
14. I love Japan and want to move there where people are nice and the city is clean.
15. In my life I have had braces, bad acne, glasses and a bowl haircut.
16. I don’t understand graffiti and think it should be punishable by instant shooting in the foot.
17. The word “panties” makes me uncomfortable.
18. I love, love, love pear Jelly Beans.
19. My dad is from England.
20. I always wanted to work for Disney. (Check!)
21. During high school and college I would play Roller Coaster Tycoon and The Sims for hours on end… and still do sometimes when I have a free moment.
22. I’ve never been to Mexico.
23. Sometimes I don’t know what to do with myself when I’m not at work, and would much prefer to do nothing at all.
24. I don’t understand people who speed up to a red light.
25. I miss my friends and family in San Diego every single day that I am in Los Angeles.
