Completely exhausted from a very long day. We just had a drink at Bella Vista, a bar that overlooks DisneySea and now we’re about to get some rest. We have to be up at 6 and we’re heading to Kyoto for two days.

Tokyo DisneySea, pt. 2
April 22, 2009Hello!
This morning Tim and I headed over to Tokyo Disneyland for a last visit. We went on the train, had some Mickey waffels and then went on Autopia. We came back to DisneySea and met up with Tim’s boss, Don, for lunch. Now we’re off to play some more. A bunch of photos are below. I’ll try to caption later… DisneySea is beautiful!

April 22, 2009So very tired! We just got in from Tokyo Disneyland. I am exhausted! We’re going to bed after having a snack.

Tokyo Disneyland, pt 1
April 21, 2009We’re at Disneyland right now. We lined up at park opening with all the locals. They go NUTS when the park opens and run — stampede? — to their first destination, but of course it’s in the most polite way.
We rode the new Monsters, Inc. ride in the morning, Monsters, Inc. Ride and Go Seek! It was really cute and well done. Then we went over to Mickey Mouse Review… This attraction was from the 70s and was a total trip. It’s basically an Anamatronic show of Disney characters performing different musical sequences.
After that was lunch and then Pooh’s Honey Hunt which is simply amazing. The ride is beautiful and fun and technologically beyond what I thought possible. Really good fun and puts that two Pooh rides in the states to shame.
More later! Off to do more fun things.

Rise and shine!
April 21, 2009Just waiking up for the day. I think it’s Wednesday. It’s just after 7 and we’re all making it into the shower one by one and then going to head down to the lobby for breakfast. Today we’re heading to Tokyo Disneyland — can’t wait for the new Monster’s Inc. ride and Pooh’s Honey Hunt. Hopefully we’ll be as lucky as yesterday with the crowds. There was no one at DisneySea!
Time to get my butt out of bed. I’m going to make Tim post something today!

Tower of Terror… Amazingly beatiful up close. Great detail and the story was great… In Japanese!

On our way to DisneySea!
April 20, 2009We just ate at the Disneyland Hotel. It just opened last year and is amazing! Pictures below… Now we’re off to DisneySea!

April 20, 2009This is the view from our room. Not too shabby. The window only opens two inches so that’s the best shot I could get.
We just got up and we’re about to get up and get some breakfast and then head to DisneySea. It’s a little overcast today and might rain. I guess that is appropriate for DisneySea!
